Hull City striker Sone Aluko has revealed that he is happy
with his return to the team following a six-month injury absence.
The 24-year-old Nigerian international had been out of
action since January with an Achilles problem.
Aluko however made a return to action in Monday's 6-0
friendly victory over Winterton Rangers, and is now focussed on attaining full
fitness ahead of his side’s season opener against Chelsea.
"I felt pretty tired afterwards, but the first game
back is always tough and especially after the injury," Aluko told the
club's official website.
"But it was good to be out there again. I enjoyed it
and it was great to be back out there with the team.
"I'm concentrating fully on pre-season and it's all
about getting back to full fitness."
Aluko and his teammates are currently in Portugal to
continue their preparations ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
