Fulham, according to reports in England, are interested in luring West Bromwich Albion forward Osaze Odemwingie to Craven Cottage ahead of the fast-approaching 2013/2014 English Premier League season.
Odemwingie, who has a year left on his contract, appeared set for a move to south London and Premier League new boys Crystal Palace, with Ian Holloway keen on his services.
Holloway hopes to land Odemwingie for less than £2.5m, but the Baggies – who were furious at the player in January when he tried to force a move to QPR – are determined to drive a hard bargain.
But with doubts now surrounding that switch, with both sides yet to agree on a price for the Nigerian forward, Fulham – bought last week by US billionaire Shad Khan – have registered an interest in bringing him to west London instead.
The 31-year-old Odemwingie was left out of the Baggies’ pre-season tour of Germany days after he was ordered to train away from their first-team squad – and even told to use a separate changing room to the rest of the senior players.
